Specifying a Filter
You can select which items you want to work with on the inventory spreadsheet. Click the Modify
Filter button to change the filtering conditions for selecting items. The Define Filter form lets you
specify whether you want only Active, only Inactive, or all items.
You can also specify a mask to use mask for filtering the ItemID, ItemDescription, ItemType, and
Location of the items.
The mask (*) is a multiple-character wildcard symbol. For example, BOOK* will select all items
starting with BOOK and *-21-* will select all items that contain -21- somewhere in their text.
The mask (?) is a single-character wildcard symbol. For example, BOOK?1 will select all 6-character items that start with BOOK and end with 1.
